The box office collection of the first day of Kiccha Sudeep starrer Pailwan is well under way. The much-awaited Pailwan Cinema has been released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and has been seen in over 400 screens in Karnataka alone.

On some parts of Bengaluru, the show has been seen from 5-30 am. Sudeep fans have been getting a good response to the advance booking. There are five performances in a single theater in Bangalore.

The film is being released in every corner of the state. Kartik Gowda, who owns the distribution rights of the film, told a news conference that many more cinemas will be released and theaters that have been closed for a few years have reopened.

According to Sandalwood experts, Pailwan lost in the collection as much as Sudeep's previous villain. On the first day of release, it is said to have surpassed 15 to 20 crores. However, the matter has not been officially stated by the producers.

Sudeep has been getting a lot of positive feedback from fans about the film. Collection is likely to increase further on weekends.
