Tata Motors sold 3,037 units of Tata Motors in the month. Despite the number one spot, it has declined by 67.27 per cent compared to August last year. In August last year, the company sold 9,277 units.

In August this year, 833 units were sold. The Tigor car is being sold in standard and AV models. The EV-type car is mostly used for commercial purposes. Tata Harrier's 633 units were sold in August.
The Tata Harrier, which was launched in January, suffered a huge drop last month compared to the initial sale of the car.

Tata Jest ranks fifth on the list of best-selling models from Indian car manufacturers. The Jest is reported to have sold 294 units. This car has been on sale in the domestic market for a long time and is very old.
Tata Motors' sales figures for August this year were followed by Hexa, Safari and Bolt. The three models sold for 136, 83 and 23 units respectively. Apart from these models, Tata Motors has also discontinued sales of Sumo and Nano in the domestic market.
Both the Tata Sumo and the Tata Nano have been discontinued due to the lack of safety compliance with the old safety regulations and the engine compatible with the BS-6 pollution regulations enacted by the central government on April 1, 2020.
