Indian railways alloted special trains

Indian Railways alloted special train for Durga pooja,Diwali,chathh 2019 check here :


To cater to the increased  traveller traffic throughout the festal season - Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath - Indian Railways has declared special trains. As people live outside their home state flock home, traveller volumes throughout the festival season go up well.

   Many people notice it tough to manage a ticket or get tickets at a higher worth because of large rush. During this season, air ticket costs also go sky high. These special trains can offer some succour to those passengers.


Eastern Railway said during a statement that it'll run eight pairs of weekly Puja special trains between Malda via Sultanpur and Malda-Haridwar.

The passengers on Haridwar-Malda, Gorakhpur-Howrah, and Howrah-Chhapra routes are benefited from these trains. These trains are expected to begin their operations within the 1st week of Oct 2019. The passengers are able to book tickets for these trains through IRCTC web site or at the Railway reservation offices. They can get updates on these trains on Railway website.

According to the information,from Oct 4th  Howrah-Gorakhpur special train is expected to be operated, while the special trains from October 7 from  Malda Town-Haridwar and Howrah-Chhapra routes are likely to begin the journey.

Special train on Howrah-Gorakhpur route are run until Oct 25, 2019, while the special train on Howrah-Chhapra route will be run till October 28. The special train on Malda Town-Haridwar may be operational untill November 25. The passengers should ensure the trains timings and also the latest updates through railway enquiry or web site.

The passengers are able to check the arrival timings of the special trains on the Railway web site by providing PNR variety. There is  no concessional price for booking  these trains. The passengers are able to book air-conditioned, sleeper or general second class ticket.
